The following table shows what measurement units you will see your data in when you view it in the Series 500 software and exported files.
The ‘true’ measurement unit will always be what was set at the time of logging.
Note: Data exports made using version 6.5 of the software always show ppm as the title for the measurements column.
Units at time of logging | Units at time of download | Units displayed in software | Units in .csv export | True units |
---|---|---|---|---|
ppm | ppm | ppm | ppm | ppm |
ppm | mg/m3 | mg/m3 | ppm | ppm |
mg/m3 | ppm | ppm | ppm | mg/m3 |
mg/m3 | mg/m3 | mg/m3 | ppm | mg/m3 |
You can’t convert measurement units within the Series 500 software.
The Concentration Unit option in the Monitor Setup window exists only so you can set the units shown in the software to match the units logged on the monitor.
If you the units don’t match, the data is incorrect.
