Monitoring locations are perfect if you have a dynamic site where monitors are going to move around due to weather, short-term projects or other factors.
Within Aeroqual Cloud, you define a monitoring location (a single GPS coordinate) on a map and associate a monitor with it. Once the monitor is physically located at the monitoring location, any data generated by the monitor is stored on the monitor as well as the monitoring location.
Should the project end or weather change, you can physically move the monitor to a new location and “detach” it from the monitoring location in Aeroqual Cloud.
Data collected at the monitoring location is permanently stored and you can view and download it after the monitor is gone.
At any point in the future, you can place another monitor back at the monitoring location and its data is added to the historical data from previous monitors.
The key benefit is that data is presented by location – irrespective on which monitor contributed to that data.
A monitoring location sits under a project in the organizational hierarchy within Aeqoual Cloud. Several monitoring locations can be created for a single project.
Monitoring locations share some of the data viewing and handling capabilities as a standard monitor. You can:
- Set up email and text alerts for that location
- View data in chart and table form
- Download all the data concatenated from that location.
Monitoring locations can be set up anytime, before or after, the monitors arrive in site. For more information, watch our video:
