Contributions are used to determine how much of the measured air pollution is caused by your site, rather than background conditions.
By comparing data from upwind and downwind monitoring locations, Contributions calculate the difference in pollutant levels to estimate site impact.
This is commonly used for regulatory compliance frameworks such as South Coast AQMD Rule 1466, NYS DER-10, and similar regulations.
