Introduction
If you have a Series 500 or Series 300 handheld monitor, you can zero calibrate the Type 1 sensor heads you use with your Series 900 fixed monitor. The only exceptions are ammonia and perchlorethylene. For these Type 1 sensors, you must return them for factory calibration or buy replacements.
To perform a zero calibration in the field using a Series 500 or Series 300 handheld monitor, you also need Aeroqual’s calibration accessory (AS R42) with 10ml syringe, Tygon tubing, a gas regulator and gas cylinders.
