Introduction
When installing the AQY-R you should choose a location with good airflow. It is recommended that you install the instrument with at least 1m of clearance below the instrument. It should be installed away from specific point sources (e.g. kitchen vents, A/C units).

The AQY-R comes with a multi-functional mounting bracket. 2.5in (34mm) U-bolts can be used to secure it to vertical or horizontal poles, while a number of screw holes can be used to affix it to walls or timber structures.

The AQY R can be locked to restrict access. A small padlock can be used to lock the front cover (maximum shackle diameter of 5mm), while another can be inserted in the back mounting tab to prevent the instrument from being removed from the wall mounting bracket.
